I figure an update is long overdue so here goes nothing.  I am very, very close to getting a DLSR (as in possibly days away) and I'm so excited .  I never thought I'd get one any time soon but I got lucky

There will probably be a sharp increase in my number of favorites.  This isn't some mass faving for no particular reason,  so, to anyone I've faved,  I really do enjoy your photos very much.  What I'm doing is saving photos that I like to try and use them as guidelines for improving my own photography.  

I'm going to try to branch out from macros but don't plan to stop them altogether.  I might even get some people-photography in at some point (I'm horribly shy about the idea of asking someone to be in a photo so this may take a while :dohtwo: )

Hopefully there will be some new photos within a month or so.

New monitor for X-mas!  I finally have colors back   Really really not in a photo taking mood lately,  which depresses me.  I hope to get back on track once life settles down a bit.

I may,  if I'm really lucky and I plot a bit more,  be getting a dSLR camera for X-mas (I'd be paying for most of it,  just additional pitching in from others)...  It's not too likely so I'm not going to get my hopes up too much,  I still need to figure exactly which one I'd want anyways.

I do know however that I am definitely getting a new flatscreen monitor   I can't wait to be able to see colors again


In other news...I had an A in chemistry   Not doing so hot in math though,  I need to go in for a lot of extra help if I'm going to pass this year.  Debating colleges and career choices.  I really wanted to go for Pharmacy but you need calculus for that and I'm below average in math skills   I'm currently looking into Aquatic biology (Limnology,  not oceanology) or something to do with Aquatic invertebrates....Something with biology,  I really enjoy science classes  (I swear I'm the only person who loves chemistry We'll see if that changes when we begin harder assignments though,  it's still early in the year)..


Sorry submissions have been kind of absent lately.  I haven't slept well for the past two weeks and I'm not feeling too well,  I'm hoping I'll get myself back on track this weekend,  maybe plot some new photo possiblities and catch up with everything I've been slacking on.

A monitor.    I keep thinking I'm looking at overly desaturated images,  but nope.  Just my monitor being a pain in the ass.  This thing's survived a few too many lightning storms and power surges for it's own good.

Totally lacking inspiration (well,  besides blacksocks' inspiration dust   Thanks sweety ),  anyone want to give me a random topic to try?
