I figure an update is long overdue so here goes nothing. I am very, very close to getting a DLSR (as in possibly days away) and I'm so excited . I never thought I'd get one any time soon but I got lucky

There will probably be a sharp increase in my number of favorites. This isn't some mass faving for no particular reason, so, to anyone I've faved, I really do enjoy your photos very much. What I'm doing is saving photos that I like to try and use them as guidelines for improving my own photography.

I'm going to try to branch out from macros but don't plan to stop them altogether. I might even get some people-photography in at some point (I'm horribly shy about the idea of asking someone to be in a photo so this may take a while )

Hopefully there will be some new photos within a month or so.
